If you’re a current or prospective student looking for practical work experience and extra money, it’s a good idea to find out whether you’re eligible to apply for a federal work study position at NPC.
Jennifer DoBell, senior financial aid specialist and federal work study coordinator at NPC, says, “To qualify for the program, students must complete the entire NPC financial aid process and demon-strate financial need to be considered eligible.” Students must also be enrolled in at least six credit hours per semester.
Students can learn valuable work skills such as time management, organization and communication skills and creating different types of documents, all of which is work experience that they can put on their résumés when they finish up at NPC. It also can lead to valuable work references.
