npc_same_classesNorthland Pioneer College partners with other regionally accredited colleges and universities, both within and outside of Arizona, through official articulation agreements. These agreements assist students with making a smooth transition from NPC to a participating four-year institution without duplicating coursework. NPC students participating in university transfer agreements (UTA) are able to fulfill their four-year college’s requirements by completing articulated courses at a much lower cost.

An articulated course is a course at NPC that will fulfill a subject matter requirement at another college or university. The course content of the articulated course has been reviewed by the two institutions who have determined that the courses are comparable and the NPC course will be used “in lieu of” the comparable course at the transfer college.

NPC has guaranteed UTA agreements with ASU, NAU and UofA. We also have several articulation agreements with Prescott College, Grand Canyon University and Diné College. NPC also works with Ft. Lewis College, Brigham Young University and the University of New Mexico to assist transferring students.

Students planning to transfer to another institution should always work with a transfer adviser at that schoolplus your NPC adviser, to ensure your NPC credits will articulate, saving you time, money and having to repeat coursework. Contact an NPC academic adviser to receive the latest information regarding the partnerships available to NPC students.
