Barbara Hicks demonstrates the latest nail care techniques. Cosmetology students learn more than just hairstyling; they also study the techni-ques of pedicures, facials, coloring, perms and salon management.

Graduates of NPC’s Cosmetology program have one of the highest success rates for passing the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology licensing exam, at the lowest program cost in Arizona!

With a 99% pass rate and scores above the state averages, salon managers rate NPC’s cosmetology and nail tech program graduates as “above average” in skills, ability and professional customer service. “Our graduates are ‘salon-ready’ upon obtaining their licenses,” notes Chloe Reidhead, chair of the program.

Students can enter the program in either January or August, attending full- or part-time. Nail technician training is offered only in Show Low and Winslow, with Cosmetology classes also offered in St. Johns.

Reduced-cost services are offered to the public under the supervision of state-licensed instructors, at all three locations.
