NPC_7_easy_stepsYES, YOU CAN AFFORD COLLEGE!

NPC understands that college can be expensive and that’s why we work so hard to keep costs low. A quality education does NOT have to mean higher cost.

Financial aid and scholarships are available. All students who wish to apply for financial assistance, including scholarships, must start by filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form online. Getting started is easy; just watch the student guide video for step-by-step instructions at www.finaid.ucsb.edu/FAFSASimplification/index.html.

Don’t have access to a computer or the Internet?

No problem! Stop by any NPC location and ask to use one of our public computers. It’s free as long as you use NPC’s or any other college/university website (.edu) or any government website (.gov), such as the FAFSA website.

We care about your future. No matter what your goal is, we can help.

ABOUT NPC

Northland Pioneer College has one of the lowest tuition rates in the state of Arizona: only $70 per credit! You’ll save thousands on your education and even more if you intend to continue on to earn a bachelor’s degree. www.npc.edu/tuition-fees

You’ll enjoy smaller class sizes and personalized attention from faculty and staff who care about your success. Our current students say that this is what they like best about NPC.

NPC offers classes in several ways, depending on site location: live classrooms, real-time video and online courses. Not all courses are offered every semester or at every NPC location. Always meet with an academic adviser to plan your schedule so you don’t waste money or time. www.npc.edu/advising

You must be at least 14 years old to attend classes at NPC, or you must receive special permission and meet all required placement test scores.

NPC’s class schedule is available online at www.npc.edu/class-schedule two weeks before semester registration begins.

NPC’s academic calendar lists important student dates such as when registration begins, semester start and end dates, college closures, financial aid deadlines and more. www.npc.edu/academic-calendar

Students who register for classes on or after the first day of the semester will be charged a nonrefundable $25 late registration fee. Short-term classes will also have a late fee assessed if registering on or after the start date of the class. www.npc.edu/late-registration-fee

All new students must take NPC’s student orientation class (except those taking only noncredit or online classes). Students who fail to complete this class during their first semester will be blocked from further registration.

All students attending NPC must verify their residency status or they will be charged out-of-state tuition.

Students must pay their tuition and fees or make payment arrangements by the NPC payment deadline or they’ll be dropped from all classes.

NPC is approved for the enrollment of veterans and survivors or dependents of veterans under Title 38 of the U.S. Code and selected reservists under Title 10 of the U.S. Code. www.npc.edu/veteran-services
